About Me
My name is Eric Mendez and welcome to my photography website 📸. I have lived in Riverside 🔔 for 8 years, first in the Woodstreets and now in Victoria Hills. I am a self-taught photographer and have been shooting for about 6 years. I would characterize my style as moody and dramatic. My love of photography started about 7 years ago when I began a BBQ blog 🔥 and started experimenting with photographing my food. During this time, I took several online photography courses and workshops to refine my skills. After photographing a friend's wedding and several family gatherings, I quickly fell in love with photography.
I was born and raised in San Bernardino and have spent the last 16 years in the field of education as a biology, health and AVID teacher 👨🔬🔬🧬. I hold a bachelors degree in biology and a masters degree in educational technology both from CSUSB (go Coyotes 🐺). When I'm not taking pictures or teaching, you can find me barbecuing, playing racquetball, attending concerts and spending time with my wife Jenna and daughter Giada 👨👩👧
